Here’s the upcoming release schedule for Disney movies on Blu-ray and DVD throughout February and March 2013:
February 19: Monsters, Inc.
Disney-Pixar’s classic Monsters, Inc. hits Blu-ray 3D for the very first time. The biggest reason to pick this up is for that special preview of Monsters University!
March 5: Wreck-It Ralph
Ralph wrecked the box office last November, and now he’s set to crash onto home video! Bonus features on this release include the Oscar-nominated short, Paperman, deleted scenes, a feature on creating the distinct worlds of Fix-It Felix, Jr., Hero’s Duty and Sugar Rush, and fake retro video game commercials for the in-movie games.
March 12:
Mulan (15th Anniversary Edition) and Mulan II
There’s a Disney Princess celebrating her 15th Anniversary this year! Mulan and it’s sequel Mulan II make their Blu-ray debut this March. Bonus features include deleted scenes, backstage featurettes and YES, music videos.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame I and II
Some like it, some hate it, but you have to add it to your collection, right? This 1996 Disney classic also premieres on Blu-ray with it’s completely crappy sequel. If you’re working to complete your Disney Animation collection, you can’t miss this!
Brother Bear and Brother Bear 2
If you’re like me and actually like Brother Bear, buy this now! Although I’m still scratching my head over why they thought this movie needed a sequel…
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (25th Anniversary Edition)
Animation Addicts, rejoice! What Wreck-It Ralph is for video games, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is for cartoons. You’ll see everyone from Betty Boop to Dumbo share space in this live-action/animation hybrid. I would buy this just for that one scene with Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny together.
