Disney Channel has released a full trailer for its newest animated TV show: Owl House. The show follows Luz, a young Latina girl, who discovers a magical portal to the fantastical, magical world of the Boiling Isles. Training as an apprentice witch under the guidance of Eda the Owl Lady, who also owns the Owl House, Luz sets out to prove that she has what it takes to become a fully-fledged witch.

Check out the trailer!

Created by Dana Terrace, Owl House will feature the voices of Sarah-Nicole Robles (Boss Baby) and Wendie Malick (American Housewife) as Eda. Given that the show has yet to air but has already been green-lit for a second season, Anime Superhero speculates that if the show lives up to its promising premise and trailer, it could very well be on the same level as Disney Channel’s other hit series: Gravity Falls and Star vs. the Forces of Evil.

Owl House will premiere on Disney Channel on January 10th, 2020.
