Stop what you’re doing and watch this now: Disney has officially unveiled the first teaser trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.
The teaser takes us back to Litwak’s Arcade, where we see Mr. Litwak plugging in a new WiFi router. Fascinated, Ralph and Vanellope enter the uncharted territories of the world wide web, stumbling into cat memes, pop-ups, and even crashing into an iPad game for kids (that scene is laugh-out-loud funny). Check it out below for yourself:
We’ll probably have to wait until summer for a full-length trailer with Incredibles 2, so those wanting to see the Disney Princesses (who will all be featured in full CGI) will have to hold on just a bit longer. The film will also feature cameos from numerous Star Wars and Marvel characters and a whole lot of puns on popular websites.
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 (yes, that’s the final title) will be released on November 21st this year. The sequel is once again being directed by Rich Moore, along with the original film’s writer Phil Johnston, and is written by Phil Johnston with Pamela Ribon. The returning cast includes John C. Reilly as Ralph, Sarah Silverman as Vanellope, Jack McBrayer as Fix-It Felix, and Jane Lynch as Sgt. Calhoun. Taraji P. Henson joins the cast as a new character named Yesss.
