The Pixar Post reports that the studio has announced their next short film and its director. It looks like Dave Mullins, who has worked as an animator in nearly every Pixar movie since 2001’s Monsters, Inc. is going to direct Lou, which will probably be released in front of Cars 3 next June, although this isn’t confirmed.

So, all we know from the short announcement video is that something, presumably Lou, is in a lost and found box. Intriguing. Also, notice the colored artwork that can be glimpsed near the end of the video!
