Sony Pictures has released another trailer for its R-rated movie Sausage Party that clearly showcases the film’s adult humor.
The new promo is a clear parody of the televised show Wonderful World of Disney where Walt Disney himself would take you on a behind the scenes look of his latest movie. Seth Rogan – who wears a suit and glasses (and even a moustache) similar to Walt – begins a conversation with the animated sausage, Frank, but things take a dark turn.
WARNING: the following trailer may contain explicit content, including dialogue and imagery that may not be appropriate for all audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.
Sausage Party is about a sausage named Frank who leads a group of supermarket products on a quest to discover the truth about their existence and what really happens when they become chosen to leave the grocery store.
Sausage Party will be the first American R-rated computer animated film since Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters in 2007. The movie is directed by Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon. Voice talents include Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, David Krumholtz, Nick Kroll, Edward Norton, Salma Hayek, and Anders Holm.
Sausage Party hits theaters in August 12.
