The wait is (almost) over as Disney unveils the official cover artwork for the eagerly anticipated Aladdin Diamond Edition Blu-ray release!
The cover fits right into the Diamond Collection, with a vertical logo and an oval window. But, Disney, those off-model characters! Previous Platinum and Diamond releases were criticized for slight alterations to character designs, but this one can’t be overlooked. Aladdin and Jasmine look rather…strange, to be honest. We’ll let you be the judge of this cover. Mostly, it’s nice to see the return of Aladdin to home video for the first time in eleven years. We can finally upgrade that worn out old Platinum DVD.
The Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy Combo Pack is now also available for pre-order, listing a mid-October date. Stay tuned and keep checking back as we will update this article as soon as all the exciting new bonus features are revealed!
