From the moment that mysterious first trailer hit the web, people everywhere not only wanted to know more about Brad Bird’s second live-action feature film Tomorrowland, but also wanted to see more.
Just yesterday, people looking forward to the film got their wish when the second (and possibly final) trailer for Tomorrowland finally hit the web. You can watch it down below:
Mysteries set aside, this looks exactly how a Brad Bird-directed summer blockbuster film would look like: frenetic, fast-paced and with no shortage of gorgeous visuals and cool imagery.
Furthermore, it’s important to note that 2015 hasn’t exactly been kind to science fiction on the big-screen thus far, with Jupiter Ascending falling flat on its face and the R-rated Chappie opening below expectations (and not having the shiniest reception either). Luckily, Tomorrowland may rectify that, being that it skews a tad younger than those offerings and may draw in audiences looking for something a bit lighter than The Hunger Games or Divergent.
Directed by Brad Bird from a screenplay that he co-wrote with Damon Lindelof, the film stars George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Kathryn Hahn, Tim McGraw, Keegan-Michael Key, with Judy Greer and Gary Chalk.
Tomorrowland hits theaters May 22, 2015. Stay tuned later this week for a look at answers from the Q&A session conducted by Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof!
What do you think? Does the trailer make you look forward to the film?
