One of the most anticipated Disney films this year (that isn’t a live-action remake or a Pixar film) is Tomorrowland, Brad Bird’s second live-action film after 2011’s Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
Even as we edge quite close to the day of release, we still don’t know much about the film’s plot other than that it revolves around Casey (Britt Robertson), a teenage girl who is whisked away (via a magical pin) to a seemingly perfect utopian world, where wonder and invention are king, called Tomorrowland. She navigates this strange world with the help of grizzled inventor Frank (George Clooney) in order to uncover its secrets.
If you want to know more, you’re in luck.
Courtesy of a press release from Disney, director Brad Bird and producer/co-writer Damon Lindelof will be hosting a live Q&A session on Disney’s official Facebook page. This discussion will be followed up by the exclusive world premiere of a brand new trailer for the film. All of this will take place next Monday at 10:30 AM and, again, it will all happen on Disney’s Facebook page. The Q&A and trailer will also be released on the film’s Facebook page, which can be found here.
To celebrate the coming release of the new trailer, Disney debuted a brand new poster for Tomorrowland:
Tomorrowland hits theaters May 22, 2015.
What do you think? Will you attend the Q&A session? Are you looking forward to the new trailer?
