We have got our hands on a few cool new stills from Disney’s next animated feature, Big Hero 6, featuring lead characters Hiro and Baymax! These images come from an unconfirmed source, but are likely from a trailer, which premiered in Japan recently alongside Maleficent. It seems that just like last year with Frozen, Japanese fans have got an extended look at the movie. The new images are simple but pretty cool, and focus largely on child prodigy Hiro and his cuddly robot Baymax. Check the new photos out below! Nothing new as such, but we do get a closer look at Hiro and Baymax. Also, is Hiro crying in that last picture? We’re positive that come November, all of us are going to fall in love with these two (and probably the rest of the cast too). No word on any new trailer for now, but we’ll probably see a new, longer trailer around September. From Disney’s official synopsis:
With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”).
