THOUGHTS ON THE TRACK LISTING:

  • So it looks like we’ll have SEVEN musical sequences in the movie: the opening, “For The First Time In Forever”, “Love Is An Open Door”, “Let It Go”, “Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People”, “In Summer”, and the final reprise of “For The First Time In Forever”.
  • I’m disappointed that Jonathan Groff doesn’t get to do much singing in the movie. Apart from the goofy “duet” with Sven, that is. That’s a shame since he has a great voice. An Anna-Kristoff duet would have been great!
  • Looks like Disney’s focusing on the sister relationship rather than the romance angle, hence no Kristoff-Anna duet.
  • No closing/finale chorus song? (Unless that’s “Fixer Upper”? Or will the folk song be reprised?)
  • The trolls don’t get a song?
  • Get ready to sing a LOT of karaoke – the Deluxe Edition has karaoke versions of ALL the songs!
  • NO VILLAIN SONG!?
  • Demi Lovato will be singing “Let It Go” (over the end credits, presumably).
  • Overall, looks set to be another great, fun Disney event with a couple of songs destined to become Disney Classics.

Purchase the Frozen Deluxe Soundtrack on Amazon or iTunes. Frozen hits theaters November 27, 2013.
