First, is the art book news: Dark Horse Comics has released pages from The Legend of Korra: The Art of the Animated Series Book One. The book not only has original artwork from the first season, but it also includes captions by the creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, as well as never-before seen artwork. Now for the most exciting news of all, according to Hypable, the very first episode of the second season to The Legend of Korra will be airing this Friday at San Diego’s Comic-Con. Originally announced on Nickelodeon’s Tumblr, S2E1 will air during their Korra panel in Ballroom 20 at 11:15am.
Although there is still no official announcement in terms of when the season will actually begin to air, Nickelodeon has subsided our outspoken woes by also releasing a brand new still from the first episode…and perhaps all we need to do is wait for this weekend to begin…
