We are just one week away from the release of Monsters University (can you believe it?!). As a surprise treat, Disney will release the film slightly ahead of schedule in the United States.
Upon searching for film showtimes on Movies.com, there are early Monsters University screenings listed as happening one day early: Thursday, June 20, beginning at 8 p.m. and continuing throughout the night. These screenings take place in select theaters, but the selection is almost the same amount as the movie’s wide release June 21; not all theaters will have it that Thursday night, but a good chunk of them will.
