It looks like Disney plans to release its entire animated classics catalog on Blu-ray within a few years. Just days after announcing high definition home video releases of Lilo and Stitch, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, The Emperor’s New Groove, Oliver and Company, and The Little Mermaid, Disney has now announced that the 1977 classic, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh will head to Blu-ray August 27.
The first ever Winnie the Pooh film will feature quite a few new features on Blu-ray, including Disney Intermission, a Pooh Play-Along, and a collection of five classic shorts (“If I Wasn’t So Small,” “Piglet’s Drawings,” “The Expedition,” “Geniuses” and “The Honey Song”).
