[UPDATE] Trio of New ‘Cars Toons’ Debut on Disney Channel

In a bit of a surprise, three all-new Cars Toons from Pixar will premiere tonight, March 22, on Disney Channel. They are being dubbed Shorty Shorts because they are quicker in length than a traditional Pixar short. They will air during the telecast of Up, which starts at 8/7c. The exact premiere times will be 8:21, 8:50, and 9:13, one hour before for central time zones. If you miss them tonight, they are sure to be on rotation during commercial breaks on the network for months to come.

This marks the first time that Cars Toons has explored stories outside of Mater’s Tall Tales. Who knows what characters or possibilities this might open the floor to!
