Each year, the top podcasters compete in the Podcast Awards to find out what podcast is the best that year in a variety of categories.
Last year, the Animation Addicts Podcast was ineligible to compete because it was so new, but this year, it’s our turn! But we can’t do it alone, we need your help to get us on the ballot.
Nomination voting has opened today (October 1) and will go through October 15. After October 15, the votes will be tallied and the top-nominated podcasts will be listened to by a team of panelists who will judge the shows. Semi-finalists and final voting will begin sometimes in November. The winners will be announced at the New Media Expo in January.
Here’s how you can help:
- Vote for the Animation Addicts Podcast in two categories: People’s Choice and Movies/Films at PodcastAwards.com.
- For the name of the podcast, use “Animation Addicts Podcast” and for the show URL use “AnimationAddictsPodcast.com” for each of the two categories.
- You can vote only ONCE, so make sure that you vote for those two categories at the same time (on the same ballot).
- Before submitting, fill out the comments section at the bottom and explain why you love the Animation Addicts Podcast and why you feel it deserves a nomination. These do get read and are an important part of the selection process.
