Anna and Elsa Make Surprise Appearance in Walt Disney World

Anna-Elsa-Hollywood-StudiosAhead of their official debut in November at Epcot, Anna and Elsa from Frozen surprised guests Tuesday at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida with an unannounced meet & greet. Our friends at Mouse Steps have full photo and video coverage!

The sisters appeared in a tucked-away corner just outside of The Magic of Disney Animation, which not-so-coincidentally houses an exhibit featuring artwork from their movie. The meet & greet in this location is not Anna and Elsa’s permanent spot. They’ll move to Epcot’s Norway pavilion in a few weeks with a more elaborate photo background.

Tuesday’s appearance at Hollywood Studios can be viewed as a surprise test run, in a sense: getting a feel for the characters and how they interact with guests (and with each other) and working out all the kinks before the official, announced character greeting opens. This practice is common for new characters, and could continue indefinitely until the sisters make the move to Epcot sometime in November. If you are visiting Hollywood Studios soon, ask a Character Attendant Cast Member if and when Anna and Elsa will be appearing that day, but know that they may not know themselves or may be unable to tell you based on the sporadic nature of the tests.

Check out Mouse Steps’ report for lots of photos, including each of the girls’ unique shoes, and a video!

What would you say to Anna or Elsa if you met them in the parks?
