D23 announced the lineup of Hall D23 presentations for D23 Expo 2019, marking the first scheduled presentations for this year’s convention.
Friday, August 23 – 10:30AM
The Disney Legends Awards, hosted by chairman and CEO Bob Iger, starts off the first day. The ceremony will honor Wing Chao, Robert Downey Jr., James Earl Jones, Bette Midler, and many more.
Friday, August 23 – 3:30PM
Next, fans get a first look at Disney+, the new Disney streaming service coming this fall. The presentation will look at original content exclusive to the service, including The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and more.
Saturday, August 24 – 10AM
Walt Disney Studios gives guests a sneak peek at works from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel, Star Wars, and other live-action Disney projects.
Sunday, August 25 – 10:30AM
The Disney Parks, Experiences and Products panel, hosted by chairman Bob Chapek, looks at what’s new and what’s next for resorts around the globe. The presentation will discuss events from the openings of the Star Wars park additions to the upcoming transformation of Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
