[GIVEAWAY] ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ Tickets

Believe it or not, it is time again for another exciting season of Ghibli Fest from our friends over at GKIDS. For the last few years we have had the blessing of seeing many of the greatest films from the Japanese animation powerhouse Studio Ghibli on the big screen. These films are packed with color, music and imagination and are a treat to see at a theater. This year they have 9 films, which you can see for 2 or 3 days as a special Fathom Event at your local theater. You can find more about the festival here.

The first film to premiere this year, Howl’s Moving Castle, is a beautiful film and a perfect choice to start the festival off as it is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2019. It tells the story of Sophie, a quiet girl who works in a hat shop. One day she meets a handsome wizard who is in a quarrel with a witch. Seeking to wound the wizard, the witch puts a curse on Sophie turning her into an old and feeble woman. Devastated Sophie finds her way onto the wizard’s magical moving house and works hard to defeat the witch and get the curse reversed.
