Disney’s Moana is coming to Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand on March 7, with its release on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere occurring a few weeks earlier on February 21.

The standard Blu-ray release is par for the course, but the reveal that Moana will be released on 3D Blu-ray, a format of which Disney has opted out for a few releases, was a great surprise to some.

The Walt Disney Animation Studios hit tells the story of an adventurous Polynesian girl named Moana, who dreams of sailing the seas.
