Nearly 100 Rare Pieces of Animation Art Up for Auction This Week

As more time passes, animation and comic art becomes more and more scarce as collectors, galleries, and studios are snatching up pieces for their collections. However, it’s still a great time to be an animation or comic art fan because the Internet is making purchasing these pieces easier than ever.

This week, the auction house Auctionata is holding an online auction for nearly 100 rare pieces of Animation & Comic Art on October 14 at 12PM EDT. (Disclosure: Auctionata is a sponsor for Rotoscopers.) 

The pieces range from classic works such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Peanuts, and Looney Tunes to more modern works like X-MenPeter Rabbit, and SpongeBob Squarepants. Featured artists include Marc Davis, Chuck Jones, Charles Schultz, and Matt Groening, among many others.
