The experience will give fans and families a chance to immerse themselves in Shaun’s home at Mossy Bottom Farm and will have the opportunity to star in a real Shaun the Sheep scene using green screen technology. Other Aardman characters, such as Wallace and Gromit and Morph, will also appear on site. For animation fans, their will be original sets, models, and characters from the productions housed in the new attraction.
The experience is launched by Aardman in partnership with Heritage Great Britain. Allan Leech, CEO of Heritage Great Britain, said, “The plans look stunning and we’re confident the experience will become a must visit attraction for tourists to the landmark site.” David Sproxton, Aardman co-founder and executive chairman, added that, “The increasing popularity and success of branded attractions makes this partnership a natural fit for both parties. With more than half a million visitors to Land’s End every year we recognise the there is an opportunity to help deliver a unique attraction to such a famous landmark.”
Shaun the Sheep the Experience is set to be open in February 2015, following the release of Shaun the Sheep the Movie.
