It won’t be long before Anna and Elsa are back on the big screen. Just revealed, the short film Frozen Fever will release theatrically March 13, 2015, attached to Disney’s live-action Cinderella.

The project, first announced in September on national television, comes from Walt Disney Animation Studios and re-unites much of the original Frozen filmmaking team: directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, songwriters (yes, there’s a song) Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, and principal voice cast including Kristen Bell as Anna, Idina Menzel as Elsa, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, and Josh Gad as Olaf.

The official synopsis reads:

In Frozen Fever, it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.

The new logo, revealed today, adds a touch of green to the familiar Frozen lettering. It gives off a sense of springtime, or perhaps different-colored icing on a birthday cake.

The decision to attach to Cinderella certainly makes sense, and propels that film’s release into guaranteed box-office success if it wasn’t already so. An outing to the movies for this one will truly be a celebration of Disney’s most iconic fairy tales.

Are you excited for ‘Frozen Fever’?
