Its here! Its finally here! We have the first look at Pixar’s next big “emotion” picture, Inside Out!

So someone’s not as excited as we are.

The trailer begins with a look back at various emotions through past Pixar movies, from Toy Story and A Bug’s Life to WALL-E and Brave. We then get very brief introductions to the five main characters: Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger and Fear, each of course embodying their own distinct personality. We also get to see Riley, the girl in whose mind these emotions reside, along with her parents, as well as the emotions at work in the mind’s “control center”.

However painfully short the teaser was, we’re already in love with the unique premise and character designs. The vivid color palette and detailed visuals look advanced even by Pixar standards. If you look closely, you’ll also notice an absence of lines in the emotion characters. They seem to have a certain shimmering quality that’s rather hard to describe but beautiful to look at. Joy, Sadness and Disgust also have super glossy hair that looks like glowing optic fibres. So cool.

We’re overcome with every single emotion right now. From Disney and Pixar, Inside Out releases June 19, 2015.
