Ten years ago, a group of Disney Channel actors came together under the moniker “Circle of Stars” to record a version of “Circle of Life” for the DVD release of The Lion King. The same thing was done in 2005, when they sang “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” for the Cinderella DVD.
Today, that tradition continues as some of Disney’s biggest TV stars come together to record a version of “Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?” from Frozen.
The group includes names such as Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter (Girl Meets World), Kelli Berglund and Tyrel Jackson Williams (Lab Rats) Piper Curda and Olivia Holt (I Didn’t Do It) Jordan Fisher and Grace Phipps (Teen Beach Movie) Leigh-Allyn Baker (The 7D, Good Luck Charlie), Kevin Chamberlin (Jessie) and many, many more.

It’s a great version, and stays true to the original song. It’s harmless, sincere, and definitely fun. This group recording certainly brings back fond memories of the early 2000s, when pop covers of Disney songs would be recorded by stars and featured on Disneymania albums. Listen to us, Disney, we still want a Disneymania 8.
