‘When Marnie Was There’ Extended Trailer Brings the Feels

Studio Ghibli’s latest film When Marnie was There has released a new extended trailer just in time for its release in Japan on July 19th.

I may be currently overly emotional, or this trailer really brings on the feels. I’m going to guess it’s the latter because everything from the beautiful song, to the animation and character depth just brings it all together in this trailer for When Marnie was There.

Reviews so far have been warm for Yonebeyashi Hiromasa‘s take on the story, which comes to great relief as the studio has come under intense speculation about it’s future, though there have been non-feature plans in the works.

Though no further distribution information has been released for When Marnie was There, we know that discussion is not lagging far behind.
