Who knew Mickey loved futebol so much?
In his new cartoon short, O Futebol Classico from Disney Television Animation, the mouse struggles to find a decent seat for a big soccer game. It teems with excitement for the World Cup in more ways than one: being entirely in Portuguese, having international flair, and including a fun cameo for Disney fans. The cartoon is part of the ongoing, delightful Mickey Mouse series developed for viewing online and on Disney Channel.

Additionally, as the World Cup comes to a close, getting a lot of coverage on the airwaves is this soccer-themed Gatorade commercial. It puts the vintage tune “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo” from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 1950 masterpiece Cinderella as the soundtrack to an intense workout montage.
