Do you like Pixar? Do you like music? Do you have functioning ears? Then we have good news for you! Michael Giacchino confirmed he will be scoring Pete Docter’s Inside Outdue in theaters in the summer of 2015. This is far from Giacchino’s first collaboration with Pixar, as he has already scored The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Up and La Luna and many other short-films. As the Pixar Post reports, Giacchino was interviewed during a pre-concert on May 24 for the Star Trek Into Darkness: Live to Projection event. He said he’s also scoring Tomorrowland, a movie by some guy named Brad Bird, as well as Jurassic World, the next installment in the Jurassic Park franchise. You can watch the whole Q&A below (he starts talking about his next projects around the 20:25 mark).

Exactly one year, one month, five days, 2 hours, 13 minutes and 3 seconds ago (Pushing Daisies reference? Anyone?), we told you that Giacchino was scoring one of Pixar’s next films and we speculated it would be this one, since it’s been confirmed Thomas Newman will be scoring The Good Dinosaur.

Are you excited for Giacchino to score the next Pixar film?

If you want to read more about Inside Out, we got some new information yesterday about the plot!
