Video clips weren’t the only thing shown at Lucasfilm’s panel at WonderCon over the weekend. The show’s executive producer Dave Filoni and art director Killian Plunkett showed off some never-before-seen Star Wars: Rebels concept art.
It should be noted that the show’s creators were very much influenced by original Star Wars concept artist, Ralph McQuarrie. McQuarrie’s unique style and color palette comes across very clearly in these images. Check out the full set over at the StarWars.com blog.
Star Wars: Rebels premiers on Disney Channel this fall with a one-hour special, followed by a regular series on Disney XD.
