Just a few more weeks until the release of DreamWorks Animation’s 28th animated feature Mr. Peabody & Sherman and it seems every day we get more footage of the film. A few days ago DreamWorks launched a new site for the film, which featured a spoilery new still and today we got two exclusive new stills just for the Rotoscopers.

Sherman-still

The first still is the most notable of all the new stills because it features two Shermans! In the trailers there was one scene with Sherman in two different type of clothes: his normal outfit and his Trojan outfit. A lot of people online thought maybe one of the scenes was changed or cut, but in this still we can see that there are actually two Sherman’s in the same scene. How is this possible? Perhaps, one of this is a Sherman of the past and the other Sherman is the real Sherman, but I guess we have to wait until the movie’s release to discover that. Lesson: never mess with time travel.

Exclusive Stills

The second and third stills are mildly less interesting. We’ve already already seen a clip and another still showing Sherman meeting up with the Trojan army. The still of Penny’s parents is really cool and fun, but I’m still more interested in Mr. Peabody, Sherman and Penny than Penny’s parents. Though I love all the designs, the look, lighting and feel of the movie. I just love Mr. Peabody’s apartment, which can be seen in the first and third still.

DreamWorks’ Mr. Peabody & Sherman is about Mr. Peabody, a talking dog who is the smartest being in the world, and his adopted son Sherman. When Sherman’s misuse of the time-traveling WABAC machine results in disastrous and comical results, it is up to them to put things on track before the space-time continuum is irreparably destroyed.

Mr. Peabody & Sherman will release in US theatres March 7.

Which of the new stills is your favorite? And what’s your theory on the two Shermans?
