Walt Disney World guests can now get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Frozen in a new exhibit. Concept art, sketches, sculptures, and much more is all on display inside The Magic of Disney Animation, an attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. (As if the new international posters didn’t get us excited enough!)
It’s tradition for each new Disney and Pixar animated film to be given a backstage spotlight at DHS, with the most recent being Monsters University. It’s worth noting, and a bit ironic, that the very same building that the exhibit is found was once a living, working part of Walt Disney Animation Studios, responsible for individual sequences in The Lion King, a string of Roger Rabbit short films, and the entirety of Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, and Brother Bear. Now the complex is a celebration of, rather than a functioning extension of, Disney’s animation pipeline.
