‘Monsters University’ To Open The Annecy International Festival

It’s been announced that Pixar’s Monsters University has been chosen to open the 2013 Annecy International Animation Film Festival! US fans who live in certain cities have the chance of seeing the film as long as they’re students, as we reported, and now international fans have a chance of seeing Pixar’s next feature film on June 10th, before it opens internationally.

As Pixar News reports, this festival was created back in 1960 and is held in the town of Annecy, France. If you’re planning on going to the festival, you can find ticket prices here. The Blue Umbrella, the short that will accompany the movie in theaters, will also be screened at the festival.
