Early ‘Monsters University’ Screening For Students

Monsters-University-Sulley-MikeThe Monsters University Facebook Page has announced that there will be early screenings across the United States for students and faculty! The lucky cities are Washington DC, Cincinnati, Detroit, Miami, Houston, and Denver. If you want to attend, you’ll have to RSVP here. Be quick about it! And make sure you have your Student or Faculty ID when you go the screening.

As The Pixar Times reports, this is not the first time Pixar has done this. Knowing that College Student had grown up with Toy Story and Toy Story 2, they held screenings of the third movie for these people. However, it was a cliffhanger version of the movie so maybe no students suffered severe dehydration while watching the ending.

Lie down. Try not to cry. Cry a lot.

Nothing suggests that the Monsters University screening won’t be of the whole movie, but we haven’t heard if the movie is finished yet. Animation is final but the score is currently being recorded.

If you can go to any of these screenings, make sure to let us know what you think of the movie!

PS: The picture that accompanies the post is a new still that Pixar released through Facebook!

Pablo Ruiz is a Colombian filmmaker. Movies like Toy Story, The Lion King and Aladdin made him fall in love with the art form and now he hopes to dedicate his life to telling stories, hopefully for Pixar (if they go back to doing original films). Some of his ambitions are making a movie as emotionally impacting as Toy Story 3, meeting JK Rowling, and petting a million dogs. Follow him on Twitter (@PabloRV7).
