[UPDATE] ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’ and ‘Atlantis’ Coming to Blu-ray

Two of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ early-2000s films will make their Blu-ray debut June 11. The Emperor’s New Groove (2000) and Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) will both shine for the first time in high definition on that date, and both sets come with their respective sequels: Kronk’s New Groove (2005) from DisneyToon Studios and Atlantis: Milo’s Return (2003) from Walt Disney Television Animation.

The news comes from the quick eyes of Stitch Kingdom and Rotoscopers writer Pablo Ruiz, who spotted the products’ Amazon pages that exist without any formal press release from Disney. At this time, no bonus features have been announced, but pre-orders can already be made (here for Emperor and here for Atlantis).

[UPDATE 3/22/13, 3:10 p.m. EST] But wait, there’s more! Today Stitch Kingdom unsurfaced another double feature that will join the June 11 release date: Lilo & Stitch (2002) and Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch (2005). And we now have cover art for all three releases!

It is unknown at this time if Lilo & Stitch‘s other sequels (2003’s Stitch! The Movie and 2006’s Leroy & Stitch, which served as the series premiere and finale, respectively, of Disney Channel’s Lilo & Stitch: The Series) will receive the Blu-ray treatment.
