With the Academy Awards right around the corner, ABC has released a video full of interviews with Pixar’s best and a rare look of the inner workings of the beloved studio. It’s not often we get to see the everyday life inside the Academy Award winning studio, but every time we do it’s obvious why their movies are so good. Those people just have so much fun!
ABC interviewed Brave co-director Mark Andrews and Pixar giants Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, Wall-E) and John Lasseter (Toy Story, a bug’s life). They talked about all the research done by the animators, about the difficulties of making a good fairy-tale movie (Stanton hates fairy tales. Gasp!) and how the focus of Pixar has always been storytelling.
The video is definitely worth a look! Check it out here!
