USA Today brings us new stills from Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 featuring new characters and some very special royal guests.
As teased at D23 Expo 2017, while exploring the vast worlds of the Internet, Vanellope meets the Disney Princesses for a sequence full of cameos. We get our first look of this scene in the image above, featuring Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Tiana, Rapunzel, Anna, Elsa, and Moana. Not pictured but also part of the scene are Ariel and Merida. This marks the first time many of the Princesses will appear on the big screen in computer animation.
Joining the cast is Taraji P. Henson as Yesss, proprietor of “BuzzzTube,” a popular video website and a guide to Ralph and Vanellope as they venture into a world that is largely unknown to them.
Alan Tudyk voices KnowsMore, a search engine with all the answers. This confirms the involvement of Tudyk, who voiced King Candy in 2012’s original Wreck-It Ralph and has since voiced a character in every film from Walt Disney Animation Studios. Until now, it was unknown if he would reprise King Candy for the sequel in some afterlife (or double version) way. Whether or not that still ends up being the case, we now at least know for sure Tudyk is in the film.
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 is directed by Rich Moore (director of the first film) and Phil Johnston (screenwriter of the first film). It releases from Disney Animation on November 21.
