Sony Pictures Animation has given us a first look at their upcoming sequel, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2: Revenge of the Leftovers- with two new servings of concept artwork!
The two concept images give us a little taste (no pun intended) of what the movie will look like. Honestly, I think the new pictures are great! they’re vivid and colorful and look really grand and ambitious in scale compared to the first movie. It also looks like we’ll be seeing many characters from the first film, including Flint, Sam, Officer Earl Devereaux, and of course, Steve the monkey.
Revenge of the Leftovers picks up from the previous film. Master inventor Flint Lockwood now works for his idol Chester V’s Live Corp Company. He joins a team of the world’s best inventors and designs things to make the world a better place. Everything is going swell until he discovers that his foodie machine is still working, and is churning out foodimals – animal and food hybrids! Yikes!
After the success of the first film, Sony is really putting their faith in this movie. Hey, they had me at foodimals.
