Warner Bros. hasn’t released The Lego Movie yet (February 7th), but it is already green lighting the sequel to the delight of many fans who have anticipated the film’s release for quite some time.
This is not really a shocker, as most films that do well nowadays are pretty much guaranteed a sequel, but now fans can rejoice, even before viewing the film, that they will be able to continue the journey….in about four years as production gets underway. Jared Stern (The Internship) along with another undisclosed writer will be penning the sequel.
