In a pleasant surprise, Disney and Pixar have revealed the first official teaser trailer for next summer’s Toy Story 4.

The new teaser is in equal measures sweet and bizarre: we see the main characters holding hands against the iconic cloudy background, until we meet Forky, an all new toy that is actually a spork with glued-on parts. Check out the teaser in its entirety below:

Disney-Pixar also released an official teaser poster for the film, which is minimalistic and features Woody against a dull, ominous background that obviously takes inspiration from old Western films.

Is Woody tipping his hat and saying goodbye? Could this be Woody’s last Toy Story adventure? Tom Hanks did admit that the fourth film would be “emotional” saying that some of the scenes at the end were “really hard to get through.” Feel free to speculate in the comments!

The fourth installment of the Toy Story series reunites the cast we know and love, including Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear. It will be directed by Josh Cooley with a screenplay by Stephanie Folsom. Catch the toys back in action on June 21, 2019.
