Under the new leadership of president Chris DeFaria, DreamWorks Animation is setting its bold ambitions for the next decade and beyond! Deadline has reported that the Glendale-based animation giant has scheduled three untitled animated features for December 22, 2021, April 15, 2022, and April 7, 2023.

The first of these untitled films, dated for December 22, 2021, will see it go head to head with an untitled Warner Animation Group feature and an untitled Disney live-action production. Additionally, The Boss Baby 2 and Spooky Jack will also be released in 2021, making it the third time DreamWorks will release three animated features in one year. DreamWorks previously did this practice in 2010 and 2014, which unfortunately took a toll on the company in January 2015.

Looking ahead in the following year, DreamWorks only has one movie dated for 2022, April 15 specifically, where it releases alongside an untitled Warner Bros. event movie. The third untitled movie, dated for April 7, 2023, is currently the only film reserved for that date.

DreamWorks is set to kick off its partnership with new owner Universal Pictures with the highly-anticipated conclusion of their acclaimed franchise How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, scheduled for release on March 1, 2019.

DreamWorks’ future schedule is as follows:
