Last week we learned about DreamWorks’ offerings at the upcoming French animation festival – including sneak peeks at How To Train Your Dragon 3! – and now we have the rest of the lineup, featuring works from both universally well-known companies and international studios.
Hotel Transylvania 3 director Genndy Tartakovsky will present an exclusive premiere of the film ahead of its July 13 release date. Sony will also show in-progress footage from this December’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse starring Liev Schreiber and Mahershala Ali.
Brad Bird will present the French premiere of Incredibles 2 on June 15, the same date it is releasing in the U.S. Bird will be receiving a career honor for his work on The Iron Giant, and Pixar’s The Incredibles and Ratatouille.
As previously announced, DreamWorks director Dean DeBlois will present first footage from How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, and DreamWorks will also show two short films, Bird Karma during the opening ceremony and Bilby during the closing ceremony.
Blue Sky and 20th Century Fox will show in-progress footage from their 2019 film Spies in Disguise, starting Will Smith and Tom Holland.
Disney’s Rich Moore and Phil Johnston will screen first images from this November’s Wreck-It Ralph 2.
Dilili in Paris, a drama from French studio Wild Bunch, will make its world premiere at the festival. The film follows two characters investigating a string of kidnappings of young girls in Belle Epoque Paris.
