A second trailer to Disney’s live-action sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass, directed by James Bobin, has arrived and introduces us to more of the movie’s plot.
This extended trailer sees Alice in a psychiatric hospital as it appears no one believed her previous adventures in Wonderland. The psychedelic Jefferson Airplane track ‘White Rabbit’ track is heard during the trailer, and we’re given numerous CG visuals.
Mia Wasikowska reprises her role as Alice along with Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. A new addition to the cast is Sacha Baron Cohen who plays the new villain Time. Previous villains also return, the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) and even, somehow, her “beloved” Jabberwocky who was last seen slain by Alice. The end of the trailer also sees the addition of Humpty Dumpty (John Sessions).
Alice Through the Looking Glass will be released May 27, 2016.
