The teaser trailer for the upcoming fourth entry in the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise has been released.

Entitled Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, the film is set to be about Dave deciding to propose to his girlfriend. Thinking that this means he’s leaving them, Alvin and his brothers head on an epic road trip to stop Dave from doing this.

Jason Lee returns as Dave and Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Jesse McCartney return as the voices of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore respectively. Bella Thorne, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and Tony Hale have also officially joined the cast.

The film is being directed by Walt Becker (Old Dogs, Wild Dogs) and is set to be released in time for the Christmas holidays on December 23, 2015.
