Pixar Debuts Hilarious New Trailer For ‘Inside Out’

Earlier this week, Pixar revealed that Agent S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Kyle Maclachlan and Unfaithful‘s Diana Lane joined the voice cast of its highly anticipated release of next summer, Inside Out. Yesterday, we got treated with a first full-length trailer for the film on iTunes Trailers.

Yesterday’s trailer featured a hilarious scene that was previously shown during many conventions including Disney’s own D23 Expo and the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. Check it out below!

The trailer features a look at a family dinner scene that quickly evolves into an argument between Riley and her father when Anger and Disgust take over the control panel inside Riley and Dad’s mind. The most entertaining and surprising part about the trailer is that we don’t just get to see Riley’s emotions, but also her parent’s emotions, the same emotions but with different designs, who are basically the most entertaining characters in the entire trailer.

”Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.”

Pixar’s Inside Out opens in theatres June 19, 2015.

What did you think of this new Inside Out trailer? What is your favorite moment?
