Actress Mindy Kaling, who lends her voice to the character Disgust in Pixar’s upcoming animated feature Inside Out, treated followers on her Instagram account with a new look at the highly anticipated film. Not only did she post a new picture of her character Disgust, she also revealed that she is done recording for the film.
The picture that Mindy posted on Instagram first was a selfie with the film’s director Pete Doctor in which she revealed that yesterday was her last major recording session for the film. With all the lines for the film recorded this could mean a teaser trailer is on its way and should come out shortly. It’s exciting to see the film’s schedule on track and that Pixar might potentially have a full trailer done in time to show it in front of Disney’s Big Hero 6 later this year in November.
Shortly after posting the picture with Pete Doctor, Mindy uploaded a new picture of her character Disgust. We’ve seen a few pictures of Inside Out’s main characters including Disgust so far but it’s exciting anyways to see the character in a new pose and to see some more of Disgust’s sassy personality.
Check out the official synopsis for Inside Out below!
”Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.”
Inside Out is set to release June 19, 2015
