One of the things people love about art book is the big reveal about what the final cover’s going to look like. Well, right on schedule, the cover for The Art of Big Hero 6 has been revealed online and it features our favorite duo Hiro and Baymax.
The cover appeared in Chronicle Books’s 2014 Autumn Catalogue, which doesn’t necessarily mean that this is the final cover. This particular piece of concept art by Ryan Lang has been floating around the Internet for a few months, so this could just be a placeholder cover much like Frozen’s. Amazon has yet to update the book’s pre-order page with the official image, but if anything changes (and it turns out there is a different cover), we’ll let you know!
The book is written by Jessica Julius and features a preface by John Lasseter. Big Hero 6‘s co-directors Don Hall and Chris Williams are penning the forewords. The Art of Big Hero 6 will be available on October 21, a few weeks before the movie’s release.
