Last Friday, DreamWorks Animation released the first trailer for its upcoming animated feature Mr. Peabody & Sherman. One day earlier, the studio uploaded some Mr. Peabody & Sherman trailers in foreign languages, which were different from the English trailer. So I was excited to see that DreamWorks finally uploaded an English version of that international trailer onto its YouTube channel.

While the American trailer focuses more on the comedic side of the movie, the international trailer focuses more on the relationship between Mr. Peabody and Sherman, particularly how Mr. Peabody manages to be a father to the boy. It also shows a lot of footage that wasn’t shown in the US trailer such as Mr. Peabody adopting Sherman, Sherman in school and a lot of footage from the ancient Egypt scenes.

Using his most ingenious invention, the WABAC machine, Mr. Peabody (Ty Burrell) and his adopted boy Sherman (Max Charles) hurtle back in time to experience world-changing events first-hand and interact with some of the greatest characters of all time. They find themselves in a race to repair history and save the future.
