Pixar Dia De Los Muertos movie concept artStitch Kingdom reports that over the past few days, the Walt Disney Company has been filing several applications to trademark ‘Dia de los Muertos’ in a variety of areas. As you may remember, Pixar is planning to release a movie related to the Mexican holiday ‘Day of the Dead’ in 2016. And while we don’t have a title yet, this points to the film simply being titled ‘Dia de los Muertos’.

We know the movie will be directed by Lee Unkrich and produced by Darla K. Anderson, the same team behind a little film you might have heard of called Toy Story 3.* Little more is known about the project, but as soon as we hear more about it, we’ll let you know.

*The movie was probably the leading cause of dehydration worldwide back in 2010.
