‘Paperman’ Producer Kicked Out of Oscars

It comes to no surprise that Disney’s Paperman, won the Oscar last night for Best Animated Short. What does come as a surprise is that the short’s producer Kristina Reed was kicked out of the Dolby Theatre during Director John Kahrs’ acceptance speech.

The reason for her expulsion? Reed had decided to throw paper airplanes from the balcony where she sat, toward the stage in celebration of their award. The of which could have been a dire distraction from all of the none-tomfoolery that was on stage…obviously, the absurdity of the situation was re-evaluated, and Reed was allowed back to her seat.

Good thing the short wasn’t called “Watterballoonman”.
