Pete Docter’s upcoming film–which was previous known as The Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside The Mind--now officially has a title: Inside Out.
It was rumored that the film would be called The Inside Out, so this official title is just slightly modified from that. Inside Out is an original, unique film about the inside of a young girl’s mind. I imagine it will not only follow the story of the young girl as she goes about her life, but will also have a parallel story with an insider view of the emotions inside her mind. Then again, that’s just how I imagine it; we’ll see how Pixar imagines a young girl’s imagination.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Pixar takes audiences on incredible journeys into extraordinary worlds: from the darkest depths of the ocean to the top of the tepui mountains in South America; from the fictional metropolis of Monstropolis to a futuristic fantasy of outer space. From director Pete Docter (Up, Monsters, Inc.) and producer Jonas Rivera (Up), the inventive new film will take you to a place that everyone knows, but no one has ever seen: the world inside the human mind.
Inside Out is set for a June 2015 release.
