Walt Disney Pictures released on its Twitter the first photo of Angelina Jolie as the iconic villianess Maleficent from its upcoming live-action film of the same name.
We think Angelina looks great and it s dead ringer for the “Mistress of All Evil.” Jolie features heavily contored checks, yellow eyes, red lips and is topped off with Maleficent’s iconic black devil horns. Now that we think about it, after seeing this photo we can’t think of a better actress to play Maleficent in the film.
The live-action Maleficent follows the events of Disney’s 1959 animated classic Sleeping Beauty, but from the Maleficent’s perspective.
Maleficent hits theatres March 14, 2014.
